Scarecrow Decorating Contest Registration Form
Information
· 2 divisions: Family/Friend and Business/Organization
· Prizes: Family/Friend
o 1st place: Pizza party at The Gathering Place for 15 people
o 2nd & 3rd place: Pizza party at The Gathering place for 10 people
· Prizes: Business/Organization
o 1st place: $50 gift card to the Steakhouse
o 2nd and 3rd place: $25 gift card to the Steakhouse
· Turn scarecrows in to Jeremiah Phelps at Advance Wealth Management Service (308 E Huron Ave.) or Kaitlyn Fay at Edward Jones (1616 Bad Axe Rd Suite 3). Registration and scarecrows are due September 16th by 5:30 p.m.
· Scarecrows will be displayed around Bad Axe for the community to enjoy! Final judging and winner's announcement will be on September 21 at the Fall Frenzy at approx. 3:30 p.m., at Bad Axe City Park
Guidelines:
· Entries will be designed and built by the participants using their choice of materials. Scarecrows must be stable and moveable so that it may be transported to their display area for judging.
· Entries will be judged on their creativity around the Fall Frenzy theme.
· When designing your scarecrow, please keep in mind that this is a family event. No political, religious, or excessively violent scarecrows will be allowed. The Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce reserves the right not to accept any scarecrow that they deem to be inappropriate.
