SCARECROW BUILDING CONTEST
Information
o Prizes for 1st & 2nd Place in Each Division!
-Scarecrows can be displayed at local businesses, homes, or we can assist you in hanging them up downtown.
-Once completed, email a picture of your completed scarecrow to badaxechamberofcommerce@gmail.com by September September 13th.
-Entries will be posted to the Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Winners will be determined by the entries with the most “likes” received. Winners will be announced at Fall Frenzy at 5pm at the Bad Axe City Park.
Guidelines:
· Entries will be designed and built by the participants using their choice of materials.
· When designing your scarecrow, please keep in mind that this is a family event. No political, religious, or excessively violent scarecrows will be allowed. The Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce reserves the right not to accept any scarecrow that they deem to be inappropriate.

Join us Saturday , September 19th as the Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce brings you the Bad Axe Car Show during the Fall Frenzy event!
The car show begins vehicle placement between 10-11am. The Car show then runs from 11am until 5pm. Judging is from 11am-3pm. Winners are announced at 4pm..
Trophies will be awarded for: Best in Show, Chamber’s Choice, and 50/50 raffle for prizes!
A New Membership is the price for an annual membership for a business/organization/individual who has never been a Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce Member before.

$50 per Vendor Spot
The Vendor agrees to run their booth between 11AM and 6PM.
Vendor must provide their own equipment: canopies, tables, chairs, etc., and be set up by 11am.
Vendor spaces will be 12'x12' and will be assigned, requests for specific areas not accepted.
Day-of map and information will be emailed the week prior to event.
No electricity to be provided.
This Agreement is entered into this day, by and between the Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce (BACoC) and the Vendor to participate in the Fifth Annual Fall Frenzy taking place on Sept. 19th, 2026 and to make the event a success for the vendor, the community, and the BACoC.
Independent Contractor.
The Vendor is considered to be an independent contractor. The Vendor shall pay all income and other taxes due and is responsible for reporting the same. The Vendor will be solely responsible for its acts and the acts of its agents, employees, or representatives during the performance of this Agreement. Vendor must provide their own equipment: canopies, canopy stakes/weights, tables, chairs, etc., and be set up before the starting time for their event.
The Vendor agrees to pay BACoC the following $50 non-refundable fee with the application. Any vendor who cancels after Sept. 1st, 2026 the year the event occurs will be required to submit an email to the BACoC detailing the reasoning for their cancelation. The BACoC will review the email and make a determination on the validity of the reasoning. If determined to be valid the vendor will face no consequences, but if determined invalid the vendor will face suspension from future BACoC events. The terms and length of each suspension will be determined on a case-by-case basis and is at the discretion of the BACoC. Vendor fees are nonrefundable if the vendor cancels for any reason. In the case that BACoC cancels the event, vendors will receive a refund. This is a legal and binding contract.
